Our Care
It's Not Cricket was designed with our family's own experience of neurodiversity in mind

We wanted a game that felt welcoming before a single rule was read because we know that for many players, the moment of opening a box can set the tone for everything that follows.

And so, every material choice matters.

The Box
The box has a smooth, non-sticky finish because texture matters. The raised characters on the exterior create tactile distinctions that help players navigate it with confidence, even before it's opened.

The pieces sit in shaped cardboard slots, not rattling plastic trays, so everything has a place and nothing feels chaotic. No noise when retrieving the pieces, the box is designed for comfort.
The Pieces
The dice are silicone, softening the sound of every roll. The symbols on the dice are bespoke, not numbers, designed to introduce follow-on actions in a way that feels intuitive and visual rather than simply numerical.

The playing pieces are silicone too: tactile, satisfying to hold, soft and squishable for anyone who needs something to fidget with during the game.

The Inclusivity
We've heard from SEND schools and families that It's Not Cricket is a game that genuinely works for children with disabilities and sensory sensitivities.
That means everything to us.
It's quality because we care, not just about the game, but about who's sitting around the table.
